Short Hairstyles For Fine Hair

Just because you have fine hair doesn’t mean you can’t have amazing hair. Sure, fine hair is associated with limp and straight hair, but it doesn’t have to look dull. You can have Pinterest-worthy hair if you want; you just need to know how to work with your hair so that it’s fabulous. Although many believe that you can’t have short hair when your hair is fine since it’ll just look limp and boring, there are certain short hairstyles for fine hair you can try.

Short hair is easier to style than long hair and can really change up your look. Although many are scared to cut off their fine locks for a shorter look, you shouldn’t be afraid since there are many short hairstyles for fine hair out there – you just need to know where to start. Also, less hair weight allows you to add fabulous volume to shorter hair. There are so many beautiful and attractive short hairstyles for thin hair that the hard part will be trying to narrow it down to the best one! Here’s a list of the top short hairstyle for fine hair to help you with your decision so the next time you see your stylist, you know exactly what to ask for:

Long Bob

A long bob is great for those with thin hair that want to go short, but not chop off all their hair. It’s more of a shoulder-length style so you won’t have to cut it too short. The great thing about a long bob is that the layers will be able to help bring out the natural volume in your fin hair – even if it usually always falls flat. You’ll be to keep some length, but still have “short” hair that’s trendy and stylish.

Edgy Pixie Cut

If you don’t mind going super short, an edgy pixie cut is a bold and statement short hairstyle for fine hair. Styling a pixie cut in spikes and away from your head really gives it some edge. At the same time, you’re adding volume so that your fine hair looks amplified. It’s a bold hairstyle that not many have the guts to pull off, but you’ll be super happy with the outcome once you finally pull the trigger on the look.

Classic Shoulder-Length Cut

If you’re more into something classic, a shoulder-length cut can really be a great short hairstyle for fine hair. It’ll look even better if you highlight your hair since it’ll give the style more color. It’s still short enough to be manageable, but long enough to still be pulled back into a cute ponytail.

Asymmetrical Long Pixie

An asymmetrical long pixie cut takes the short style to a whole other level! It’s edgy and short and very bold and stylish at the same time. It’s an edgy cut for fine hair and those who want more flair when it comes to their hair. So it’s still short on one side, but longer on the other. Those with fine, wavy hair benefit most from this rebel style!

Blunt Bob

The blunt bob is the perfect short hairstyle for fine hair that gives its modern, elegant and super flattering. It’s a fairly easy cut with hair that’s the same length all around. You can go short like right under your ears or go for a longer bob so that it sits right at the beginning of your shoulder.

Shaved Shaggy Bob

A shaggy bob is ideal for fine hair given it adds volume, but take it up a notch by shaving the nape of the style for an edgier look. It really looks good on those with fine curly hair to help give them that unruly, messy look!

It’s tricky

I can’t get it to add volume because I can’t work it right.

Great for my hair was falling out from infusions.. couldn't brush it. Now it afraid to bush it.. wonderful brush thank you

It’s okay

It’s more like a regular hair brush - haven’t gotten the hang of creating much volume with it yet.

Hair brush

I don't. Iike it very mutch I find it hard to use with my hair dryer

Quality

Very good quality but difficult to use the feature to lift hair at the roots. Definitely a little overpriced.
